Unravel raises $7m Series A funding to revolutionise travel

New platform combines TikTok style content and AI

AI-powered video commerce platform, Unravel, has secured $7M in Series A funding, which will assist it in creating a new offering it expects will revolutionise the travel industry. 

The round was led by Nauta Capital, one of Europe’s leading B2B software investors, with participation from Active Partners, Slingshot Ventures (whose largest LP is Kees Koolen, ex-CEO & Chairman of Booking.com) and Olivier Bisserier (ex-CFO, Booking.com).

The platform partners with some of the world’s most influential travel creators, curating authentic, high-quality video content that sparks wanderlust at scale. 

Whether it’s a luxury overwater villa in the Maldives or a hidden street food market in Bangkok, Unravel transforms video discovery into frictionless transactions - right inside a bank’s app, an airline’s loyalty program, or a fintech marketplace.

It’s no secret, banks, airlines, telcos and insurers are racing to embed travel into their ecosystems, unlocking new revenue streams and boosting customer engagement. 

Unravel’s white-label platform enables them to launch creator-powered travel discovery and commerce in days rather than years.

The platform is already powering leading banks, insurers, and telecom operators across Asia and the Middle East, with active expansion into Europe and the UK. Customers have seen a 4x increase in daily active users and 10x increase in conversion on their applications.

With this investment, Unravel will enhance its AI capabilities to optimize video-commerce conversions and expand its London-based team, hiring top-tier talent in AI/ML, enterprise partnerships, and digital commerce. 

The company is actively recruiting from leading players in travel tech, banking, and AI-driven commerce to scale its impact globally.
