Journey Mentor signs five-year deal with Bangladeshi travel agency

This is a second landmark deal for the travel tech provider

Travel-tech SaaS company Journey Mentor has revealed it has won a five-year contract with Bangladeshi travel agency Time Travel BD.

Under the terms of the agreement, Journey Mentor’s travel technology solutions will be integrated into Time Travel’s IT infrastructure to transform the way the business organises travel planning, booking, and loyalty management for its customers. 

Journey Mentor will be provide the agency that has a full range of services for both domestic and international travel, with its flagship e-commerce solution SalesMentor. LoyaltyMentor will also be integrated.

The travel market in Bangladesh has recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic and is now rapidly expanding, according to The Business Standard. 

Monthly international passengers travel almost reached 800,000 in 2023, up from less than 500,000 passengers in 2019. 

Similarly, domestic air travel witnessed a surge in the last five years with rising income levels. Monthly domestic air passenger travel reached 170,000 this year, up from less than 100,000 in 2019.
