Stuart Ellis joins technology developer as non-executive director
Software specialist intuitive appoints ex-Jac Travel and Totalstay CCO to board
Travel technology developer intuitive has announced the appointment of ex-Jac Travel and Totalstay chief commercial officer Stuart Ellis to its board.
The Croydon-based software specialist says Ellis’s appointment will bolster the delivery of its iVector and iVectorRooms systems to existing partners, whilst also targeting new business.
Ellis, who joins as a non-executive director has a wealth of experience in the travel industry working in leading roles at Tui, Emirates, GTA, Totalstay and JacTravel over the past 25 years.
Intuitive said he brings “in-depth experience of the travel marketplace along with proven strategic, commercial and sales pedigree”.
Paul Nixon, intuitive managing director, said: “I’m delighted Stuart has agreed to join us.
“As a former customer of intuitive’s, he can provide us with a unique perspective on our approach.
“Coupled with his formidable commercial acumen, he’s already proving a great asset as we enter the next phase of growth at intuitive”.
After leaving JacTravel following its sale to Webjet in 2017, Ellis has worked as a non-executive, board advisor and consultant.
He specialises in working with “technically-minded organisations and applying a fresh focus on sales, marketing and market opportunity”, intuitive said.
