Viator and booking.com agree first distribution partnership for travel experiences

Deal will initially focus on the north American and European markets before wider rollout

Tripadvisor-owned experiences supplier Viator has agreed a deal to distribute attractions through leading global OTA booking.com for the first time.

Viator operates a marketplace of nearly 400,000 tours and activities around the world and the tie-up with booking.com will initially cover north America and Europe.

Additional regions and inventory will be added over coming months.as part of the global partnership.

Sarah Dines, vice president of business development at Viator, said: “Experiences are the most memorable part of any trip, and we’re delighted to bring more tour and activity options to Booking.com’s travellers, particularly as travel returns.

“Bringing our experiences inventory to Booking.com’s massive audience of travellers is an exciting integration for travellers and tour operators alike.”
