Ingencio Group launches TravelHub for international payments processing
Global payment company Ingenico Group has launched connectivity solution TravelHub to process payments in Asia, Latin America and Europe.
The technology will connect travel companies with Ingenico’s end-to-end payment process, allowing them access to over 150 payment methods. This includes credit cards, alternative payment and other currency options depending on location.
TravelHub was developed to transact across app payment platforms to improve conversion rates and eventually increase revenue from online travel sales.
The solution can also integrate with airline GDS’s including Amadeus, Sabre and Navitaire, and hotels’ PMS’s.
These travel businesses can more easily manage multiple systems, payment service providers (PSP’s) and acquirers.
Kevin Weber, Viva Air chief projects officer and chief information officer at Viva Air, said the use of TravelHub has increased authorization rates and revenue significantly as well as supported their expansion to new countries.
Ingenico has the world’s largest payment acceptance network and deliver payment with local, national and international companies.
Gabriel de Montessus, Ingenico Group SVP global online, said: “We are very proud to be launching TravelHub, a state-of-the-art solution that helps travel companies increase revenue from online channels.
“TravelHub combines the global reach of Ingenico’s online payment platforms that can now be accessed with a simple connection.”
Eric Liebman, Ingenico ePayments global head of travel, added: “Online travel businesses are looking to navigate the complex technology ecosystem while growing quickly in a very competitive space.
“TravelHub helps travel companies provide the best digital customer experience, offering payment methods and currencies travellers want to pay with.”
