Atlanta Events and Corporate Travel Consultants in Spain rebrands as Reed & Mackay

Acquisition of company took place in 2022

Global travel and event management company Reed & Mackay has announced the rebrand of Atlanta Events and Corporate Travel Consultants.

The longstanding Spanish business travel and events agency will now operate under the Reed & Mackay brand.

The company has announced a number of acquisitions and rebrands across Europe in recent years, most recently in the Nordics with the unveiling of the Reed & Mackay brand in Sweden in November 2023.

Reed & Mackay is now “poised to elevate corporate travel, event management, and congress services in Spain”.

This year, a study commissioned by the Spain Convention Bureau estimated a revenue total for Spain’s MICE industry of more than €12.1 billion in 2023.

The report also found that the average daily spending per MICE passenger in Spain reached €335 in 2022, surpassing the 2019 figure of €319.

Both findings indicate the “positive upwards directory” of Spain’s MICE industry, which “underscores” Reed & Mackay’s strategic decision to announce a branded presence in the market.

The acquisition of Atlanta Events and Corporate Travel Consultants by Reed & Mackay was announced in 2022 but the rebrand is only taking place now.

Reed & Mackay has office locations in Spain’s main business hubs including Madrid, Barcelona and Seville.
