Airline website to include comprehensive car rental offering
Air Europa expands Amadeus partnership to include new mobility
Passengers flying with Air Europa will have the opportunity to take advantage of new mobility services as the airline expands its partnership with GDS and travel technology specialist, Amadeus.
As part of the deal, the Spanish carrier will deploy Amadeus Value Cars on its website, providing a new layer of mobility options for travellers.
Air Europa will be the first airline to implement Amadeus Value Cars, allowing its passengers to have access to offers from multiple car rental providers across thousands of locations worldwide.
Jesús Nuño de la Rosa, chief executive officer of Air Europa, said: “The deal we unveil today reflects a joint commitment to providing travelers with more options, more value and more satisfaction, while adapting to their changing needs.
"By adding new mobility options to our website, we offer passengers more of the elements they need for their complete trip.”
The technology provider's own research, found self-service technology is a clear priority for airlines pre-trip, at the airport and on the journey.
The solutions deployed as part of the partnership with Air Europa will help to bring the potential of this technology to life.
Francisco Pérez-Lozao Rüter, president, hospitality at Amadeus, added: “The partnership between Air Europa and Amadeus will allow the airline to offer mobility content. Air Europa will be able to differentiate its offering as part of its diversification strategy, delivering a seamless end-to-end journey.”
