OAG serves airlines, airports, airport service providers, travel distribution players, government agencies, aircraft manufacturers, consultancies and corporate customers with schedules and status updates.
Headquartered in Luton, UK, it has global operations in USA, Singapore, Japan and China.
OAG claims to have the world’s largest network of air travel data which it uses to provide insight into scheduling and planning, flight status and day-of-travel updates, post-journey analysis and on-time performance.
Its databases hold future and historical flight details for over 900 airlines and more than 4,000 airports.
Phil Callow, CEO of OAG, said: “Vitruvian has a deep understanding of the travel market and a strong growth orientation. I am excited about the next phase of OAG’s growth and look forward to working with the Vitruvian team to build on our momentum.”
Vitruvian has also worked with Skyscanner and JacTravel
Partner Ben Johnson added: “Phil and his team have overseen the transformation of OAG from its position as a trusted source of flight schedule information into a forward thinking global data and analytics company, which has resulted in unprecedented growth in recent years.”
