New solution gives airlines the power to build a modern retail travel marketplace
FLYR reveals new Offer & Order Management System to change airline retailing
US-based travel technology company FLYR has unveiled the release of its Offer & Order Management System (OOMS).
Designed to put airlines "back in control" of their retail strategy, OOMS enables airlines to personalise customer experiences, streamline operations, and increase revenue across all channels, marking the beginning of a new era for airline commerce.
FLYR OOMS is cloud-native and ready for both low-cost and full-service carrier business models.
It has a comprehensive suite of modules including Offer Management System, Order Management System, Product Catalog, Stock Keeper, Legacy Translator, NDC Gateway, Dynamic Pricing Engine, Digital APIs, and Contact Center Portal.
“We are excited to introduce our Offer & Order Management System, which represents a leap forward in the airline industry's ability to manage and deliver highly personalized, flexible, and efficient offers to their customers,” said Cole Wrightson, chief product officer of FLYR.
“Our system is designed to help airlines bring in partners and seamlessly extend their airline brand promise, from offer creation to order fulfillment, all while maintaining compatibility with existing legacy systems.”
Kartik Yellepeddi, VP of product of FLYR, said: "Airlines have long been constrained by technology that was never designed to meet the needs of today's digital marketplace.
“With OOMS, we're giving them the tools to not only keep up with but lead the evolution in airline retailing."
The news follows a period of growth for FLYR. In August, FLYR announced it raised $295M from WestCap and other investors to rebuild the foundation of travel technology.
