DIGITRIPS transforms airfare prices for travellers with advanced 12-month price protection

FREEZE feature is the only flight price protection available up to one year before departure

DIGITRIPS, the French travel tech group behind the B2B and B2C platform MisterFly, has unveiled it's new feature FREEZE.

The new roll out is said to be the only one on the market that allows travellers to lock in a flight fare for up to 12 months before take-off, without any commitment.

Unlike traditional price freeze tools that only offer a few hours or days of protection, FREEZE gives travellers the power to secure the best airfare months ahead and confirm or decline the held fare up to 10 days before departure.

Carlos Da Silva, co-founder of DIGITRIPS, said: “Airfare prices are constantly fluctuating, making it difficult for travellers to know the right moment to book. With FREEZE, we’re removing that uncertainty by allowing them to lock in a great fare and decide later, without the risk of price increases.

“This game-changing feature is a testament to our commitment to bringing greater flexibility and peace of mind to travellers, redefining the flight booking experience.”

MisterFly’s data shows that booking a ticket six months in advance can save travellers between 30% and 50% compared to booking just 10 days before departure.

Over the coming months, DIGITRIPS will offer this feature to its customers, whether under white-label or under the MisterFly brand.
