Babble completes biggest ever tech deployment for B2B wholesaler WebBeds

Successful global migration from 22 systems to one unified solution took place over 24 hours

Communications and contact centre software specialist Babble has completed an integration of its technology with global wholesaler WebBeds.

The project marks the biggest deployment to date for Babble which has delivered a tailored solution to 1,500 travel sector professionals in the 24-hour roll out.

For WebBeds, the B2B division of Webjet, the project represents a major digital transformation.

The firm has 22 separate technologies which Babble amalgamated into one global solution. Once the migration, which was delivered remotely and without service interruption, was complete 1,500 staff were given access to the new solutions.

Babble said project has “transformed the leading travel wholesaler’s contact centre and telephony solutions, through the introduction of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions across 22 sites in 16 countries, eight of which were in challenging locations due to their local telco regulations”.

Babble added: “Combining Microsoft Teams and Five9’s cloud contact centre software will vastly improve WebBeds’ existing telecoms and customer experience, whilst reducing overall operational costs and increasing visibility.”
