Luxury European villa specialist says premium customers’ needs have been ignored
Airbnb for affluent travellers to be launched by A.M.A Selections
A.M.A Selections will launch a new digital platform this month offering what it describes as “sophisticated Airbnb alternative for high net worth travellers”.
The new booking platform will provide a user dashboard, custom shareable trip itineraries and digital concierge.
it has been developed to disrupt “dated browse and book model that currently dominates the online travel market”, said A.M.A Selections, a French boutique holiday rental firm.
A.M.A Selections said the new platform will be live in time for an expected record Summer season and will cater for the changing needs of upmarket clients post pandemic.
Mariek Anselme, a co-founder of A.M.A Selections, said: “While the short-term rental space has rapidly evolved in recent years, the high-end sector has remained largely untouched.
“The luxury vacation rental industry has long been craving a more holistic, tech-driven and trusted user experience that meets the demands of high net worth travellers.
“With over 70% of our guests booking additional services for their stay and with a large share of total spend dedicated to these services, it’s important to provide a seamless and comprehensive solution that goes beyond the conventional villa rental offering.
“By combining expert curation, hands-on service and proprietary technology, we have reimagined a booking experience tailored to the luxury traveller.”
A.M.A Selections recently added eight new destinations including Mykonos, Paros and the French Alps, offering its guests access to over 1,000 properties in more than 100 locations throughout Europe.
