Amadeus believe there is a "clear need" for travel protection options to be offered during the booking process
Amadeus and Pattern’s travel protection integration to help confidence
Amadeus, a global provider of hospitality technology, and Pattern Insurance, a global InsurTech MGA have now expanded their partnership to bring travel protection options directly to the traveller.
Guests will now be offered a variety of travel protection options during the booking process on Amadeus’ ‘iHotelier’ booking engine including medical, cancellations, weather, delays and other related coverage.
This functionality is currently going through beta testing where clients of ‘iHotelier’ have reported attractive attachment rates for hotel bookings with trip protection included.

The adoption of Pattern insurance will help Amadeus to deliver a “superb brand experience”.
