Spotnana leverages Thrust Carbon for sustainable travel management

Travel-as-a-Service platform Spotnana has revealed its integration with Thrust Carbon, the travel industry's leading sustainability intelligence platform. 

The advanced integration will provide Spotnana customers and channel partners with comprehensive access to Thrust Carbon's calculation services.

"Through our partnership with Thrust Carbon, every travel manager and traveler using our platform can have a more holistic understanding of their carbon emissions," said Johnny Thorsen, VP of business development for content distribution of Spotnana.

"We're excited to provide our customers and channel partners with Thrust Carbon's travel emissions data across all forms of travel bookings to facilitate greener travel decisions."

Since Spotnana can be deployed as a single global instance, corporations will have a global view of their travel programme's carbon emissions on Spotnana's platform for all air, hotel, car, and rail travel, using the specific methodology defined by each customer in the Thrust Carbon intelligence platform. 

Last week, Thrust Carbon announced it was the first and only company assured to ISO's landmark new 14083 standard.

In addition, because Spotnana provides a single, unified platform for travelers and agents, 

TMCs using Spotnana are able to include Thrust Carbon's data in both online and offline booking because of its single platform offering.

Spotnana will also stream real-time booking data directly into the Thrust Carbon intelligence platform to provide travel managers and travellers access to Thrust Carbon's analytics and regulation-ready reporting.
