RMS Cloud specialise in property management software
Saudi hotel operator appoints company to support digital transformation
Saudi Arabia-based hotel operator and asset manager Almajd Alarabia has appointed RMS Cloud, global specialists in cloud-based property management software, to support the company’s digital transformation plan.
Almajd Alarabia, a significant player in Saudi hospitality for more than a decade, manages a selection of hotels in Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah that welcome millions of travellers annually.
As part of its plans, Almajd Alarabia initiated a digital transformation of its business to increase efficiency and productivity and required a robust PMS solution to support its hotel operations.
By appointing RMS Cloud, the company will benefit from smooth integrations with online travel agencies and tour operator partnerships, as well as the booking engine functionality to drive direct bookings.
In addition, the PMS supports compliance with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism reporting requirements.
“As a business operating in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Tourism requires the strict reporting of finance, occupancy and reservation data for the National Tourism Platform,” a Almajd Alarabia spokesperson said.
“Almajd’s vision is consistent with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in which tourism significantly contributes to the diversification of its economy.
“There aren’t many PMS providers that can facilitate the easy collection of this information, but RMS Cloud has now automated this process - a feature that was essential to Almajd when choosing a provider.
Almajd Alarabia plans to leverage RMS Cloud’s direct booking functionality by integrating the RMS internet booking engine into its website, giving the company more control over its occupancy and bookings.
Zen Valli, Managing Director of EMEA at RMS Cloud, said: “We are delighted to have implemented our PMS across the Almajd Alarabia portfolio.
“Managing thousands of rooms across multiple locations is a complex task. Our solution will not only support the current operation but will drive its growth by streamlining workloads, offering true scalability as the group continues to grow.”
