First Pan-European debit loyalty card programme unlocks travel perks
Revolut launches RevPoints loyalty programme for customers
Revolut Launches RevPoints Loyalty Programme, Turning Daily Expenses into Exclusive Rewards
Revolut is introducing RevPoints, the first Pan-European debit loyalty card programme.
With RevPoints, customers can accumulate points from everyday spending and unlock a world of travel perks, including airline miles and exclusive discounts on travel, accommodation and experiences.
Unlike traditional loyalty programmes, RevPoints doesn’t require a credit card, making rewards available to all users.
Revolut will also add even more benefits for paid plan users with partners including MasterClass, The Athletic and Chess.com.
Fintech firm Revolut has announced RevPoints, the first-ever pan-European debit loyalty card programme in the UK.
It will allow customers to turn everyday spending into rewards, including airline miles and exclusive discounts on travel, accommodation, experiences and more.
RevPoints offers broad and accessible redemption options without needing a credit card.
Customers can transfer their RevPoints to 30+ airline loyalty programmes including British Airways Executive Club, Flying Blue and others.
Additionally, RevPoints can be redeemed for significant discounts on holiday accommodation and experiences through the Lifestyle tab within the Revolut app.
For everyday convenience and rewards, points can also be used for discounts at top brands such as French Connection and Dermalogica when shopping online with Revolut Pay, ensuring that Revolut customers can make use of every point earned.
Depending on the plan, users can earn up to 1 point per pound spent, and even accelerate their earnings by converting spare change into points, completing in-app challenges or on in-app bookings for stays and experiences.
Since its trial launch in September 2023, over 1 billion RevPoints have been earned and nearly 120 million points redeemed by Revolut users across seven European markets.
Christopher Guttridge, general manager of Lifestyle Products of Revolut, said: “At Revolut we’re all about helping people get more for their money.
"RevPoints is set to transform everyday spending into things and experiences people love, by converting routine purchases into rewards.
"Unlike many loyalty programmes, we make RevPoints accessible to all by ensuring customers can maximise the benefits of using Revolut as their primary bank account without requiring a credit card.”
Revolut plans for customers on Metal and Ultra plans to be rewarded with extra RevPoints for daily spending, as well as new lifestyle enhancements depending on their plan type.
Customers will soon be able to access The Athletic, MasterClass and Chess.com.
The new subscriptions join others already in place, which include the Financial Times, Deliveroo, Tinder, ClassPass and NordVPN.
These new benefits will be available in-app and can be easily activated by customers on eligible paid plans via their profile.
The changes are being introduced one year on from the introduction of Revolut’s Ultra paid plan in June 2023.
Ultra customers can earn the most RevPoints for their spend and will be able to unlock access to all partner benefits.
