Reed & Mackay makes bold leadership investments

Bolsters global sales and marketing teams to prepare for growth

Corporate travel and event management company, Reed & Mackay, is strengthening its focus on growth with the rapid expansion of its global sales and marketing team.

Kieran Hartwell, who was appointed as Chief Revenue Officer in November 2024, leads the expansion and alignment of the sales and marketing teams, accelerating senior appointments across all key markets.

Helping to drive Reed & Mackay’s growth across Europe is the company’s new Director of European Development, Joanna Hillman. She will oversee the sales teams from each of the company’s European markets.

Most recently, Hillman spent more than 25 years at CWT where she focused on sales and business development.

After 10 years at Corporate Travel Management (CTM), Emmie Mees joins Reed & Mackay as Director of Global Sales and will leverage her sales and business development experience to focus on the mid-market multinational space.

With the company merging its Meetings & Events sales proposition with its transient business travel sales — to provide a more seamless customer experience and client solution — Reed & Mackay welcomes Daisy Crane. She joins the company as Senior Manager of Meetings & Events, Strategy and Consulting.

Crane brings more than 15 years’ experience in strategic meetings management at Amex GBT.

Also joining the UK team is Global Director of Growth Marketing, Sandhya Shyam, who brings extensive experience in driving acquisition and customer growth for technology businesses across multiple verticals, including retail.

As Reed & Mackay continues to accelerate its growth investment in North America, it welcomes to the Sales team two new Vice Presidents of Business Development, Trevor Fleming and Rob Scales.

Fleming comes to Reed & Mackay with extensive experience in the travel technology space, most recently Travelport, and will focus on Reed & Mackay’s sales across the Midwest and West Coast.

Scales brings with him nearly two decades of experience in travel, meetings and events programme development, including tenures at GBTA, CTM and FCM Meetings & Events. He is focused on Reed & Mackay’s core legal sector and is based on the East Coast.

The appointments are part of Reed & Mackay’s ongoing investments in competitive growth as the company continues to expand globally and redefine the corporate travel and events experience.

“Our customers are increasingly looking for us to deliver a highly unified approach to how we talk about ourselves and how we operate,” said Mr Hartwell.

“At the same time, we are hyper-focused on continuing the ambitious trajectory that we’ve set for ourselves.

By leveraging the collective strengths of our people, in combination with the strategic focus on growth across all markets, we are confident that we can maximise the delivery of our truly premium experience for our current and prospective clients.”
