Company puts transformative digital growth expert in charge
Travelport appoints Andrew Jordan as new chief product & technology officer
He joins from Elemental Materials Technology, where he was chief technology officer, responsible for driving the company's innovation and cyber strategies.
Before that, Jordan was chief product and technology officer of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where he successfully led the transformation of the $27 billion travel management company into a digital-first platform business.
With more than 25 years of experience, Jordan's experience also includes senior technology leadership roles at NEP Group, NBCUniversal, and Thomson Reuters.
He co-founded Beyond Analysis, a software solutions and data science business, where he was CTO and also held the position of CIO of dunnhumby, the former data science division of Tesco.
His expertise is said to be "uniquely positioned" to lead Travelport’s technology strategy into its next chapter.
