He will take over from Dave Cruickshank in October

Travel SaaS provider to travel agents and tour operators Travelsoft has revealed that Mike Wright will be promoted to become the new chief executive officer of its portfolio brand The Atcore Group from October 1.

Wright, who been at the group for more than twenty years, has has held various leadership roles across the organisation.

The firm said his "deep" understanding of the operations of Atcore, coupled with his "extensive" experience in the travel technology sector, positions him "perfectly" to lead the company into its next phase of growth.

Wright succeeds Dave Cruickshank, who is said to be moving on to opportunities outside of the company. 

Cruickshank has led the group through a period of significant transformation and growth, and most recently guided the company through its successful acquisition to become part of Travelsoft.
