Mabrian strengthens its communications team with two additions

Expert team will provide data insights powered by its travel intelligence platform

Travel intelligence provider Mabrian has reinforced its communications and marketing team, braced for a new expansive phase, leveraging the growth of the travel intelligence world market. 

Ana Maria Marquez joins as communications manager and Aigu Sainz as design & data visualisation lead. 

The team is led by Carlos Cendra, chief marketing and communications officer, to build a full stack practice around travel data intelligence.

Journalism and corporate communications specialist, Marquez, has worked in media and corporate communications for travel, technology and Real Estate industry throughout her 18-year-long career, including OTAs, airlines, hotel industry, travel tech and destinations. 

She spent almost 10 years working as a news reporter for Agencia EFE TV Services, one of the largest newswire services of the world, as editor in chief for Agencia EFE-EPA International Newsdesk.

She's also held positions as fixer and special correspondent for several national and international media outlets, such as SkyNews and TRTWorld.

Mabrian’s new communications manager is also specialised in crisis communications and corporate reputation, as well as being an expert in agile management, digital transformation and data intelligence for business, by ESADE, MITxPro and IE Business School, among others.

Sainz graduated in digital design at Universidad Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and has more than 15 years of experience in graphic design and visual communications. 

He will bring extensive knowledge in visual storytelling and design to Mabrian’s corporate communication and visual strategy.

By growing its communications team, alongside Belvera Partners acting as its communications agency, Mabrian aims at increasing its footprint and brand awareness.

The intelligence firm hopes to boost impactful and visual storytelling around travel data worldwide; leveraging the recently announced agreement with The Data Appeal Company, part of the Almawave Group, that built up the largest data intelligence company specialised in travel & tourism in Europe.
