Antonia Bernhardt’s role first move toward expansion
Like Magic appoints Mews’ former exec to Head of Sales, BD
Hospitality management and guest experience company Like Magic has welcomed former Mews Senior Sales Director to the team as Head of Sales and Business Development.
Antonia Bernhardt, who has a decade of experience in digital transformation for brands across CEE, joins Like Magic as the platform prepares to expand its partnerships in the coming months.
Bernhardt was previously Senior Sales Director at Mews, a hospitality management system scale-up with a $1.2 billion valuation that gained unicorn status in March.
She brings more a decade of experience consulting with hospitality groups and chains across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) on developing and integrating digital guest and employee journeys.
In previous roles, Antonia expanded international market presence and global sales at Generator Hostels. She also held operational and customer-facing roles at top international hospitality brands such as Marriott, Radisson, and Sandals.
At Like Magic, Antonia will spearhead the company's strategic growth initiatives, focusing on expanding commercial partnerships and driving sales.
“Like Magic is on the cusp of transforming the hospitality sector forever, and I’m hugely excited to be joining at such an important time,” said Bernhardt.
“We’re moving into an era where technology isn’t just a tool but a partner in delivering exceptional service.”
Markus Feller, Like Magic CEO, added: “Antonia’s extensive experience in digital transformation and her proven ability to drive growth puts Like Magic in a strong position for continued expansion as we push forward with our ambitions.
“Antonia has consistently demonstrated her ability to develop strong lasting partnerships as well as to drive initiatives that streamline operations and transform the guest experience, leading to more profitable businesses across the CEE region.
“Her leadership, expertise and deep experience will be instrumental as we continue to push the boundaries of what technology can achieve in hospitality.”
Antonia’s appointment comes amid a period of significant growth for Like Magic. In June, the company won the Innovative Use of Technology Award at the prestigious Serviced Apartment Awards. The platform is also poised to finalise several new partnerships in the coming months, fuelled by increasing demand for automated technology in the hospitality sector.
Like Magic also allows guests to carry out various actions without staff assistance, from checking in, ordering food, requesting additional linen or pillows, and creating keyless room passes – requiring only a smartphone.
