He joins in a newly-created role
Fausto Maglia becomes The Data Appeal Company's new Chief Operating Officer
Tourism intelligence specialists The Data Appeal Company, part of Almawave Group has unveiled the appointment of Fausto Maglia as chief operating officer.
The role is newly created role to form part of a strategic move that will support the company’s growth and expansion.
He previously served as chief product officer and interim chief technology office at Casvo, and was part of the founding team.
Fausto significantly expanded the product and tech team, whilst transitioning the company from an instant buyer to a marketplace model.
Previously, he also managed a large user base at Dixons Carphone in London, the parent company of Carphone Warehouse Group and Dixons Retail before it merged in 2014 to form Currys Plc.
The executive, who holds an MBA from LUISS Business School, and a Master's in Communication and Marketing, combining technical expertise and business acumen, is "dedicated to continuous improvement" and "designing of organisations that align with strategic goals and intrinsic motivators".
Fausto, has a customer-centric approach and will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic planning and operational improvements across the whole of a client portfolio.
