Cover-More Blue Insurance names Jason Whelan as Managing Director

He has been at the firm for more than twenty years

Cover-More Blue Insurance Services Limited (formerly Blue Insurance Limited) has named Jason Whelan as managing director.

The Dublin-headquartered travel and insurance specialist is part of The Cover-More Group, a company of Zurich.

Jason has worked for Cover-More Blue, and before that Blue Insurance Ltd, for nearly twenty years,

He has been the chief product officer for Cover-More in Europe since 2022. 

He will retain this position in his new role as managing director of Cover-More Blue. 

Whelan will report to Cover-More Europe' CEO Donna Dorairajoo.

As Managing Director Cover-More Blue, he will lead the strategy behind driving growth through partnerships and direct to consumer websites, and for enhancing the core capabilities of the business as it continues to expand its operations in Ireland and the EEA.

He said: “I’m thrilled to lead Cover-More Blue and our fantastic award-winning team as we expand our presence in Ireland and across Europe.
