ATPCO names Ritchie Ramsamy as regional director of sales in Asia Pacific
ATPCO has revealed it has appointed industry veteran Ritchie Ramsamy to join the company’s leadership team as the new regional director of sales, APAC.
He will be tasked to work with its partners in the region, expanding ATPCO’s contributions towards modern airline retailing, and solidifying its market presence in key areas, such as China and India.
Ramsamy will support delivery of innovation, transformation, and simplification. He will focus on the growth of ATPCO’s marquee products such as Architect, Routehappy, Branded Fares and the company's newly acquired 3Victors data products.
Ramsamy brings extensive experience from key roles within the aviation and technology ecosystems across the APAC region.
He joins from Infare, where he spent three years as its sales & account director, APAC.
He oversaw a diverse portfolio with a primary focus on driving revenue growth and nurturing client relationships.
Before Infare, Ramsamy was at Japan Airlines as the director, passenger sales & marketing.
He spent more over a decade at airline Lufthansa, where he held multiple roles including head of corporate sales development, Asia and Pacific.
Ramsamy said: “As I embark on this new chapter with ATPCO, the opportunity to leverage my experience and expertise in driving strategic initiatives is incredibly exciting.
"Having worked for two different airlines and a travel tech company, working for ATPCO as an airline-owned industry organisation that drives change for the entire airline ecosystem brings me an opportunity to make more meaningful impact, and I am very much looking forward to it.”
Chris Phillips, vice president of global sales of ATPCO, added: “Ritchie’s arrival signals a significant milestone in our journey toward innovation and excellence.
"In joining our team, Ritchie brings with him a wealth of experience, insights, and a proven track record of success. His strategic foresight, combined with his passion for people, leadership, and transformation, will undoubtedly propel ATPCO to greater heights of success.”
He will be based in ATPCO’s Singapore office.
