Housesitting company reimagines global travel for pet-loving travellers
Pet parents and pet sitters alike can now travel with the confidence of belonging to a global community with shared environmental values, says pet sitting and travel solution, TrustedHousesitters.
The company has revealed that in 2024 pets on its platform were cared for across 133 countries, unlocking a new way of travel opportunities for pet lovers worldwide.
Beyond facilitating more than two million nights of pet sitting, TrustedHousesitters proudly achieved B Corp accreditation, reflecting its commitment to planet-conscious practices being instilled at the core of the business.
A 2024 survey revealed that 99.4% of TrustedHousesitters members consistently adopt small, daily actions to promote sustainability.
The data also revealed that members’ responsible travel choices are above the industry average, including using reusable water bottles and favouring independent retailers over larger chains.
“Compiling our 2024 impact report has been a valuable opportunity to reflect on an exceptional year for both business growth and also the progress that TrustedHousesitters has made to be climate-conscious, whilst continuing to harness the community element that is at the core of our proposition,” said company CEO, Mathew Prior.
“We are proud to have added more than 77,000 pets to our ever-growing community in 2024, cared for in 133 countries across the world.
“From an organisational perspective, we’re proud to have supported charities in both the US and the UK, including financial contributions and skills-based volunteering hours completed by TrustedHousesitters employees.”
