Fast-growing agency digitaltravel.io appoints Neil Hardy as first commercial chief
Travel specialist digital agency digitaltravel.io has appointed experienced travel sector executive Neil Hardy into the newly created role of chief commercial officer.
The start-up was launched two years ago and says the key appointment comes on the back of significant growth.
Hardy has a wealth of travel industry expertise in the online, commercial, and marketing having held senior leadership positions at Icelolly.com, Tui Travel, Shearings, Page & Moy, Co-op Travel and most recently at Midcounties Co-op.
Peter Whittle, chief executive and co-founder of digitaltravel.io, said: “Appointing someone of Neil’s calibre is a significant milestone as we continue to resource our growth plans.
“I am proud to have someone of Neil's experience and track record joining us. Neil will work closely with our commercial partners and development teams to drive customer success.”
Hardy added: “The group has seen some very impressive growth recently in the cruise app and bespoke website development areas, and I look forward to working with colleagues and partners over the coming months.”
Digitaltravel.io, the new brand name for Digital Travel Marketing Group, specialises in the leisure travel and tourism sector, with a particular focus on cruise.
The firm develops travel apps and websites and is a joint venture partner in Cabin Select, a cruise channel management platform launched last year.
