Cover-More Europe welcomes new Chief Operating Officer

Alp Eldem brings more than a decade of experience to role

Global provider of travel and speciality insurance, Cover-More Group has appointed Alp Eldem as Chief Operating Officer, Europe. 

The team in Europe offers a range of insurance products including travel, pet, car hire, gadget and wedding insurance through its direct-to-consumer brands and partnerships.

Based in Uxbridge, London, Eldem joins Cover-More Europe from AXA Global Healthcare, where he was Head of the Executive Office. Prior to that he was Head of Global Operations & Commercial Strategy at Zego. 

He spent more than 7 years as Accenture’s Insurance Strategy practice manager.

With more than a decade of insurance experience, Eldem has worked with brokers, insurers, and reinsurers, focusing on strategic initiatives such as product development, operational efficiency and cost optimisation. 

He has a strong track record in driving innovation through digitisation and analytics and building international teams.

As Chief Operating Officer, Eldem will lead the operational strategy for Cover-More Europe, focusing on maximising performance and enhancing customer satisfaction.  

He will be responsible for the development and implementation of a claims management strategy and will report to Cover-More Europe CEO Donna Dorairajoo.
