Travelocity and Lastminute.com’s integration has been strengthened with the appointment of a Niall McKinney to the new role of group marketing director for Europe.


McKinney joins the company from magazine giant IPC Media, where he was publishing director of Loaded, the company’s notorious men’s monthly glossy title.


He is perhaps best known for his role as marketing director of its Ignite! division, which included the successful launch of the UK’s first weekly lad mag, Nuts, in 2004.


The new role at Travelocity Europe has been created to coordinate both Lastminute.com and its new US parent company’s marketing teams across the continent.
