Start-up offered free place at TTE 2015 to showcase innovation in travel

A travel start-up is being offered a free showcase slot at next month’s Travel Technology Europe trade show through a tie-up with Travolution.

A travel start-up is being offered a free showcase slot at next month’s Travel Technology Europe trade show, through a tie-up with Travolution.

The 12th annual TTE will be held back at its original venue, the Olympia exhibition centre in west London on February 25 and 26.

TThis year the show organisers plan to highlight the best new ideas the industry has to offer through a new ‘Disrupt’ zone.

There are 20 discounted places at TTE for start-ups in Disrupt which will feature sessions dedicated to innovation in the industry.In addition, the 20 start-up exhibitors will have an opportunity to pitch their ideas to a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style panel in a series of interactive sessions, where the audience will vote for their favourite idea and the winner will win some free mentoring, PR support and a stand at TTE 2016.

‘Disrupt’ has been launched in association the Traveltech Lab, a joint venue between London & Partners, the capital’s official promotional company, and The Trampery, a leading provider of shared-workplaces renowned for inspiring innovation and creativity.The Traveltech Lab is the UK’s first incubator hub for this market and aims to inspire and support revolutionary traveltech businesses that have the potential to transform the global tourism market.

TTE is the largest specialist event of its kind in Europe and offers an unrivalled opportunity to meet new providers, source new products, bolster existing relationships and network with people from the best of Europe’s travel technology companies. This year’s show is expected to attract over 4,500 travel technology buyers from all across Europe for two action packed days.
