TTE 2015 speaker programme puts focus on income flows, efficiency, innovation and start-ups

Next February’s Travel Technology Europe trade show will provide visitors a conference programme based around four key topics: Generate, Evolve, Innovate and Disrupt.

 

Next February’s Travel Technology Europe trade show will provide visitors a conference programme based around four key topics: Generate, Evolve, Innovate and Disrupt.

The 12th annual show, which this year has moved back to its original venue at Olympia on February 24 and 25, has revealed its speaker and session programme.

Janie Fox, sales director of TTE, said: “We have a great range of interesting and exciting sessions in place for the 12th annual edition of TTE and we’re really looking forward to the event.

“With a number of big name exhibitors already signed up, we’re sure that travel technology professionals keen to improve their social media engagement, increase sales or gain insight into the future of the sector, will find that it’s an unmissable event in the business calendar.”

The four session steams are:

Generate – Creating new income flows
Evolve – Making your business more efficient
Innovate – Thought leadership in travel technology sponsored by Sabre Travel Network
Disrupt – start-up stream (new for 2015)

The conference programme will feature speeches, industry panel debates, roundtable sessions, practical case study presentations, masterclasses and interactive demos.

Panel debates include:

•  Growth hack your travel business
•  Tomorrow’s hotel room
•  Future of payments
•  Booking and reservation systems: where next?
•  Call centre 2020
•  Booking rail: will it ever become simple?

Among the sessions will be one demonstrating wearable technology, and other innovative technologies aiming to improve the traveller experience. Masterclasses will look at big data, as well as a session on social media for beginners.

Among the firms already signed up to exhibit are: Advantage, Oracle, Navitas Solutions Ltd., Dolphin Dynamics, Open Destinations, CodeGen, Syntec, Sabre Travel Network and Comtec.

Over 4,500 travel technology buyers are expected to attend the two day event.
