SilverJet is finally opening up distribution through online travel agencies after six leading websites agreed deals with the business class-only airline.

The Luton-based airline will work with Lastminute.com, Ebookers, Opodo, Expedia, Travelocity and Airline Network.

The development has been made possible after SilverJet signed GDS deals with Amadeus, Sabre and Galileo, allowing the airline to distribute fares and availability through third parties.

Until now the airline’s website and call centre were the only channels available to passengers to book flights.

SilverJet head of UK sales, Tim Buckman, said: “The online market represents a significant share of the London to New York route, and we are delighted to be working with these online partners.”
