Cosmos has produced its first mobile app to help customers research and prepare for their holidays.
The platform also provides access to the operator’s Cosmos Concierge destination expert service.
The mobile app follows the introduction this summer of a Cosmos iPad brochure app which offers detailed information on holiday destinations via downloadable brochures.
A ‘slide out’ menu on the mobile app home page displays all the key features, giving users the ability to research their chosen resort or destination and plan for their holiday.
Once booked, customers can contact their ‘Cosmos Concierge’ via the mobile app with queries or advice needed about their holiday.
The app includes UK airport information such as driving directions, car parking as well as the shops and services available.
Users can also check the weather, exchange rates, local bus services and use a fun ‘send a postcard’ feature. This enables holidaymakers to take can pictures on holiday, add a message to create a postcard and then send to friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, email or Instagram.
The operator’s commercial and marketing director, Kevin O’Regan, said: “The launch of our new mobile app demonstrates our commitment to providing an outstanding customer service experience as we utilise the latest technology to provide customers with another platform to gain holiday information as well as the quickest way of contacting us for helpful advice via Cosmos Concierge.
