Former STA Travel Group chief information officer Andy Mills has joined travel technology provider Dolphin Dynamics in the new position of head of sales and marketing.
His remit is to lead the company’s global commercial activities through the development of new and existing customer relationships.
Mills lead the deployment of several strategic online and offline technologies, including Dolphin, across international markets while at STA Travel and previously Travelbag.
He is the latest recruit for the travel technology company as part of a major investment in company infrastructure and workforce. This has seen the opening of a development centre in Cairo, an implementation office in Sydney and an expansion of its UK headquarters floor space by 50% to accommodate growing staff numbers over the past 18 months.
Mills said: “Recent strategic investments made on the back of a large growth in sales now provide a springboard for our ambitious future growth plans.
“Having worked closely with the Dolphin Dynamics team previously, I have a great deal of first-hand experience of how Dolphin can help tour operators and travel agents perform better and I look forward to playing a role in conveying these benefits more widely across the industry.”
