Dealchecker develops low-tech solution to bring cruise operators to market has created new functionality to allow cruise suppliers to upload their own exclusive offers onto each of its pages dedicated to the sector.

The price comparison site has created technology in-house that enables operators to show their fares even if they do not have a live feed.

Dealchecker said the low-tech solution can be used by smaller operators and will help to open up the marketing channel to many more cruise providers of all shapes and sizes.

Alice Mariscotti-Wyatt, editor at, said: “We noticed approximately 50% of clicks on the cruise page were going to the deals on the right hand side.

“Here at Dealchecker we are always keen to feed our subscribers, hungry for good deals, with more of the same.

“What better way to do that than make the site more accessible to new prospective cruise partners?

“We are hoping this new functionality will appeal and offer a way in for more specialist cruise partners to join us; for example we can just feature cruise deals on the Baltic or Norway pages, if this is a region that an operator specialises in.”

The new cruise page offers operator partners access to a responsive audience and dynamic leads.

The pages have a prominent lead image, cruise and river cruise search options, links to relevant blog posts and tips on how to get the most from a cruising holiday.

The right hand side features the top ‘handpicked deals’ of the week and it is to this area that operators can now add their own deals directly.

“From larger players to smaller niche providers and many more in-between, the cruise sector offers some great value holidays and our users are highly receptive to this, resulting in strong click through rates.”
