The UK’s largest budget hotel chain Premier Inn is to distribute to the trade via Travelport.
A new distribution agreement will make the chain’s 670 properties available to Travelport-connected travel agencies worldwide.
Premier Inn has 55,000 rooms across the UK and Ireland.
Head of Premier Inn sales Jackie Usher said: “We are pleased to announce that our agreement will see Premier Inn content available to Travelport connected agents worldwide.
“We are very much looking forward to working with Travelport as we continue to grow, particularly with the ability to expand our brand awareness across Travelport’s global agency reach.”
The technology company’s hospitality and partner marketing group vice-president Niklas Andreen said: “Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the UK, and one that we are delighted to be bringing to our travel agency customers worldwide.
“We know that our agents are demanding more hotel content than ever before to help maximise revenue opportunities, and the ability to provide Premier Inn through their existing booking process is an exciting development.”
