Former STA Travel business development director Ian Swain has joined lifestyle concierge business Ten Group as group commercial director.

Former STA Travel business development director Ian Swain has joined lifestyle concierge business Ten Group as group commercial director.

Swain has more than over 20 years’ travel industry experience, having previously held senior commercial and operational roles with Thomas Cook.

Ten Group chief executive Alex Cheatle said: “Ian’s role is to work closely with our travel suppliers and other external partners to ensure that we are securing the best possible deals for our members and that we are leveraging the volume of affluent customers and global coverage Ten can offer.

“We have grown the business at a steady rate over the last 16 years, and our knowledge within the travel sector will continue to grow as we recruit industry expertise in to the company.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ian in to the team and look forward to working closely with him to continue to expand the travel offering further and evolving our service to meet increasing global demand.”
