BrightOn Travel conference releases extra tickets

Extra places have been made available for the second annual BrightOn Travel half-day conference next month.

Extra places have been made available for the second annual BrightOn Travel half-day conference next month.

Strong demand for the conference, which will focus on the what, why and how of personalisation, has prompted organisers CWTdigital to increase capacity.

The event takes place during the month-long Brighton Digital Festival and has been organised to reflect the vibrant digital and travel sectors in the south coast town and surrounding region.

Organisers are expecting to welcome up to 150 people for the free conference and more for an evening social event.

The event is being held in association with Travolution and will be moderated by editor Lee Hayhurst. Other speakers lined up include Bruce Martin, founder and managing director of digital marketing specialist Ginger Juice; Victoria Sanders, head of travel at News UK; Matt Eames, Feefo sales director; and Simon Powell, chief executive of Eysys.

Recently-added speakers to the line-up include Chris Roe, Virgin Holidays e-commerce and specialist business director; Dean Harvey, Designate digital development director; and Ryan Kliszat, co-founder and chief executive of Verticly.

Dan Caplin, managing director of CWTdigital, said: “We’ve been delighted with the level of interest in the second BrightOn Travel. We always said we were ambitious to grow the conference from last year’s relatively small debut event but this has surpassed our expectations.

“The chance to attend an industry event that’s not based in London has clearly proved popular and we’re looking forward to ensuring travel gets the profile it deserves during the Brighton Digital Festival.”
