Former lastminute boss Maddock joins Thomas Cook

Thomas Cook Group has appointed Mark Maddock as director of city and domestic UK contracting cities.

Thomas Cook Group has appointed Mark Maddock as director of city and domestic UK contracting cities.

Maddock, previously managing director of lastminute.com UK, will take up the role on August 4.

In his new role he will be responsible for the growth of the city break business in the UK and the contracting of city hotels across the whole group, supported by teams in the UK and Continental Europe.

Maddock will be based in Egham and report in to Beat Blaser, group head of city and domestic travel.
