Monster.travel is the latest OTA to sign up for supplier payment solutions software MultiCommerce.
The Multicom system aims to allow traditional agents, OTAs and tour operators to reduce the transaction costs and reconciliation headaches associated with supplier payments.
The use of virtual card creation and dynamic card selection ensures that the most appropriate card type is chosen per supplier for the lowest card surcharge and offers multi-currency support for both payment cards and funding account.
Detailed management information can be provided while reconciliation is easier as each card can be mapped to a specific booking.
