Price Comparison site Momondo has launched a new service designed to help users who don’t know where they want to go decide on a destination.

Trip Finder was developed in response to data from the site that suggests 42% of Brits are looking to go somewhere they have not been before when on the site.

To cut down the needs for hours and hours of research Trip Finder allows users to set a budget and input other key factors like weather to narrow down their search.

Julie Pedersen, spokesperson for momondo said: “Our stats show that Britons are very curious to discover new destinations, so to help travellers with the research needed to find that new holiday adventure and make the discovery process more playful, we’re introducing Trip Finder.

“When we travel, we have different preferences as to what we want to do and experience. With Trip Finder you have the possibility of searching for interests that matter to you; whether it’s cities, shopping, beaches, nature or nightlife.”

Trip Finder combines flight ticket prices, weather and geographical info with momondo’s hand-picked content for 200 of the most popular destinations.

A mosaic of possible destinations provides users with a short description, pictures, and other practical information. They can then make actual searches for flight tickets.

Momondo is part of the Momondo Group which also incorporates travel deals publisher cheapflights.com.
