Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling is to sell via Sabre for the first time as part of a new distribution deal with parent company International Airlines Group.
The expanded multi-year agreement with Sabre provides continued access to British Airways, Iberia and Iberia Express’s fares, availability, schedules and ancillary services such as bags and seats.
Agents will also be able to shop and book Vueling fares.
IAG head of commercial planning and policy Silvia Cairo said: “We are wholly committed to supporting the travel agency channel and we are pleased to have reached a multi-year agreement with Sabre.
“We have a long-standing relationship with Sabre and look forward to working with Sabre subscribers more closely in the coming years.”
Sabre Travel Network president Greg Webb said: “IAG is an important partner for Sabre and we are pleased to strengthen our already long and successful relationship with the introduction of Vueling to Sabre.
“Europe is a key growth region for our company and we will continue to listen to the needs and support the commercial goals of airlines and agencies in this region.”
