TravelSupermarket.com enjoys ‘positive momentum’ with revenue up 23%

Revenue at TravelSupermarket.com rose 23% to £6.2 million in the three months to September 30.

Revenue at TravelSupermarket.com rose 23% to £6.2 million, in the three months to September 30.

The figure was disclosed in an interim management statement from parent company MoneySupermarket.com this morning.

Revenues from the travel arm were up by 31% to £18.6 million in the first nine months of the year.

The company said it remains confident of meeting its full year expectations.

Group trading in October continued the “positive momentum and solid margins” seen in the third quarter.

Peter Plumb, chief executive, said group trading growth was up by 18% in the period, following 3.7 million customers using the company’s services this year.

New technology used on a motor insurance site will be expanded across its other business channels over the coming months.
