Agents can search breaks by destination, special offers and holiday type: golf, spa, all-inclusive, family friendly, romance and beach.

The operator is also featuring guest reviews for the first time, as well as information on the reservations, sales and marketing team.

Under a “What’s your holiday type” section, holidays can also be chosen by hotel requirements, such as a property with a beach and golf course nearby and crèche and spa facilities.

The agent selects the month of travel, with or without a destination, the site then highlights the most suitable hotels and gives prices with ground arrangements, showing the cheapest options first. To complete the search, they click the ‘book now’ button to add flights.

Much of the information and new features have been introduced as a result of agent feedback.

The site has more dedicated agents’ pages featuring printable special offers that can be used for window displays, as well as information on incentives and educational opportunities.

Generic downloadable travel agency agreements and ATOL certificates that can be given to clients are included.

Agent bookings are clearly displayed on a secure section of the site and repeat invoices can be downloaded direct from their account pages.

John Dixon, chairman and managing director said: “We listened to our agent partners and included the features they really wanted on our new site.

“This included price-led holiday packages as well as the option to tailor-make breaks, plus a range of flight options – charter, scheduled and low cost.

“They also requested the option to upgrade rooms and flights without doing a new search. We show them the cost to upgrade on the same page so, it should make it easier for them to sell better view rooms.”
