360TravelGuide.com is set to radically improve coverage in its TravelPack system by combining virtual destination guides with individual hotel tours.
The latest version of the 360TravelPack system will also include interactive maps so users can locate hotels in relation to specific local sights and attractions in individual cities.
360TravelGuide claims its partnership with Thomson over the past 12 months has led to more than 1.7 million views of the TravelPacks, boosting “stickiness” by five minutes per visitor on some sections of the operator’s site.
360TravelGuide.com director Paul Baderman said: “360TravelPacks are already a proven success in attracting visitors to sites, keeping them there longer and converting them to sales.
“This latest enhanced version is even more compelling with the mash-up of maps, destination information and virtual hotel tours giving holidaymakers a real feel of their destination before they travel.”
