An online bidding system which allows potential customers to name their ideal price for holiday car hire has been launched by CarDelMar.
Users on the site will pitch what they consider to be a “reasonable” rate for a rental and car suppliers will notify them if they can agree on a deal.
The CarDelMar search engine works with the likes Avis, National, Alamo, Budget and Europcar.
Managing director Carsten Greiner said: “The travel industry is moving at such a fast pace we felt ‘My Price’ was an essential development for our business.
“Consumers expect exactly this kind of solution online to speed them through what should be fast transactions with an excellent support service.”
