Adventure Company unveils over-50s website

The Adventure Company has launched a dedicated website to cater for the booming and active over 50s market.

The tour operator has developed the site – known as – following customer feedback which indicated a demand for tours for the over-50s.

Special features such as easy text resizing and enhanced navigation paths to address any potential usability concerns.

Features contained in the main Adventure Company website, such a Google Earth overlay for tours, have been included in the new site.

Head of online marketing Keith Lavender said: “We had looked at the travel industry and realised the importance of the internet this sector of the market.

“The so-called Silver Surfers are happy to embrace new technology such as Google Earth and Live Chat.”

The new site has been built by Netizen Digital, the London-based agency which created the existing website.
