A multi-year GDS distribution deal has been renewed between Sabre and car hire giant Enterprise Holdings.

The parent company of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car is claimed to be the world’s largest car rental provider in the world measured by revenue, employees and fleet.

All three brands are included in the global agreement with Sabre.

Enterprise also will use Sabre’s Car Vision data platform, which provides an end-to-end strategic view of performance in Sabre’s travel marketplace. Sabre’s suite of car data services are designed to help guide supplier’s marketing, revenue and operations decisions.

Enterprise Holdings vice-president, Lisa Burgess, said: “As we continue to expand globally, the Sabre travel marketplace will help us reach the most travellers around the world.

“Sabre has been a great technology partner and an important part of our marketing strategy.”

Sabre Travel Network president, Greg Webb, said: “Sabre continues to develop new ways to partner with our suppliers – helping them increase revenues, and differentiate themselves using our data products.

“Enterprise has been an innovative partner in the use of such new and different tools. We look forward to continuing our work together and providing even more solutions in the future.”
