CodeGen celebrates 12th year at World Travel Market with largest ever presence
TravelBox Technology developer CodeGen is looking to showcase its offerings for the 12th consecutive year at World Travel Market next month.
The business was a founding supporter of the Travel Tech Show at WTM and will have its largest ever presence at the exhibition.
Board director, Bharat Patel, said: “In the last 12 years we have seen the sector change immeasurably, and it has never been a more exciting time to be a travel technology innovator.
“Twelve years ago only around one in ten people bought travel online, and airlines were just beginning to invest in web distribution.
“Back in 2002 I’m not sure even I would have believed that a device in the palm of my hand could be central to my travel booking decisions.”
The company will be talking to multi-product travel service providers, tour operators, destination management companies, airlines, OTA’s and destination tourist boards to showcase its technology.
Patel added: “Increasingly, businesses like airlines are coming to us with the requirement to create technology booking platforms that allow for additional travel components to be sold alongside a flight seat.
“We are seeing a similar situation from other travel service providers.”
He added: “Our Travelbox technology has proven itself as an extremely flexible booking platform, encompassing multiple booking flows and providing the client with ultimate flexibility to choose one or multiple business models, to suit their needs.
“We are looking forward to sharing its scope with more forward thinking travel organisations who are focused on the revenue returns that the right technology investments can bring.”
