OpenJaw announces Hong Kong office move to drive Asia Pacific growth

Dublin-based OpenJaw Technologies is to open a new office in Hong Kong to spearhead expansion in Asia-Pacific.

The move was announced today as the firm hosts its t-retail summit at the K Club in Dublin.

The new Hong Kong office will support OpenJaw’s growing business in the region. The firm already has overseas bases in Madrid and Krakow.

OpenJaw said the office will have a commercial focus and will service the growing demand for travel retailing technology, from airlines and other large travel companies.

Kieron Branagan, chief executive of OpenJaw said: “With the growth in travel in Asia-Pacific booming, and that boom seeing no decline, it is little surprise that Asia-Pacific has become increasingly important for us. Opening an office to directly service these needs was a clear choice.

“Hong Kong, with its wealth of talent and connections across region, was the obvious location for our expansion.”

Last year OpenJaw scooped the Travolution award for best technology provider.
