An advanced desktop and mobile online booking engine is to be deployed by Asian hospitality management chain Swiss-Belhotel International in conjunction with Sabre Hospitality Solutions.

Sabre has equipped Swiss-Belhotel International with a multi-lingual website developed with “hospitality-specific science” to increase booking engine activity and conversions at its 120 properties.

The partnership comes as the Hong Kong-based company plans to open 20 hotels this year.

The hotel group will be able to cross-sell between properties, upsell rooms, and deliver advanced packages and credit card pre-payments through Sabre Guest Connect.

It also integrates revenue management systems and offers pre and post-stay emails, with surveys, hotel imagery and content management distribution to be added soon.

Swiss-Belhotel International chairman and president Gavin Faull said: “The booking path is fully customisable, meaning each consumer has a different experience.

“With Sabre’s Guest Connect, we will improve our relevancy and revenue by merchandising packages and offering upgrades and extra amenities to an array of consumers.

“Guests can build the perfect experience with detailed room and package comparisons on all types of computers and mobile devices that are seamlessly integrated into our websites.”

Sabre Asia Pacific vice president Andrew Cox said: “Sabre brings a great deal of value to Swiss-Belhotel International and we look forward to helping them make their expansion efforts a tremendous success.”
